Badlands National Park
Next on tap was Badlands National Park. We arrived at the park campground at 10pm and decided to try to pitch the tent. Since it was nearly the longest day of the year, it was actually still a bit light and with the aid of the headlights too, we had the tent up in no time.
The next morning we awoke to a very warm tent as the sun was beating down already. I was up at 6am and couldn't sleep any more. Colin and I got out of the tent and took the opportunity to take some photographs in the nice early morning light. I am ashamed to say I don't know what this bird is and I forgot my Sibley guide at home. Please let me know.

It's a flycatcher of some kind I believe. Nice shot!
