Beverly and Arthur Visit

On the way back from Florida, Beverly and Arthur took a detour to the Chicago area and became our first official visitors. Yesterday, we drove into the city and had a good lunch at the Rainforest Cafe where there are park rangers for wait staff and mechanized elephants, apes, snakes and alligators to keep you entertained. There are several very impressive large tropical fish tanks also. We will have to take the kids here some day.
After lunch, we drove around the city (it was a bit cool for a walk) and showed them the sights like the Sears Tower, Millennium Park/Grant Park/Lincoln Park, Lake Michigan, Michigan Avenue, and Lake Shore Drive. Upon returning home, we picked up the kids and played tennis with Arthur at a local park. In the evening, we took a short drive to show them the Arlington Park (horse race track) and into town for a good meal at the local Irish pub.
It was a quick visit but fun to show them around a bit in our new environment. Below, Arthur and Bev give the "thumbs up" to Obama (sign is in the window). In fact, Beverly took a sign and bumper sticker to help spread the word!

Thumbs Up to Obama
