ROSfest, Day3

Sunday was another big day with two Norwegian bands I really like and the headliner, Spock's Beard. For a full review of the concerts this weekend, you can check out my music blog later this week at http://moonlit-knight-music.blogspot.com/

Here are our prog friends from Canada, Brigitte and John. It was nice to be able to sit outside on the sidewalk and enjoy a beer at Franco's or at the new Iron Hill brewpub. It could have been a bit warmer this weekend but it is still April after all.

Brigitte and John

Spock's Beard put on an incredible show, even better than I had expected. To me, this was the 2nd best show of the festival. Nick D'Virgilio sang great and also played some guitar, keyboard, and drums!! What a talent he is. And, since Nick was singing most of the time they had to have another drummer. Let me tell you something. This "substitute" was absolutely ridiculous. I was completely blown away by how talented this guy was. To play Nick's drum parts flawlessly AND add his own unique style was beyond comprehension.

Spock's Beard Ending the Festival for 2007

Anyway, by the end of this show, well after midnight, we were exhausted and ready to drive to the hotel near the Philly airport. All in all, another great festival overall. It will be interesting to see who the bands are next year. Mark and I think Riverside and iQ should be the Sat./Sun. headliners!!
