Badlands National Park Hike

We had a great breakfast at the lodge near the visitor center and were ready to tackle a short hike in and amongst the hills of the Badlands. It was nice to park the car and actually do a hike! The trail I chose was called the Notch Trail, a short 1.5 mile hike that included a cool ladder ascent of maybe 100 vertical feet! It was a HOT hike but very interesting.
