Colin's Summer Camp Begins

This morning (Saturday) was a bit nerve-wracking -- for Colin and me. He was a bit nervous about meeting his new campmates for the next 16 days and I was nervous about how he would like his camp. We prepared all of his equipment and dropped him off at the airport at about 11:30am. I met both of his camp leaders and felt more comfortable immediately. They seemed sharp and responsible.

You can expect some updates to Colin's blog when he gets back. I hope he gets some good photos to document all of his activities including kayaking on Yellowstone Lake, whitewater rafting on the Gallatin and Snake Rivers, and two multi-day hiking trips into the Spanish Peaks and the Yellowstone backcountry.
