Back to Montana
Yesterday we had a nice day at Big Sky with 4-7" falling overnight. Jim, Dave and I had a good day skiing mostly in the Ramcharger glades. We did make one trip to the summit and faced 40-50 mph winds until we could get down a few hundred yards. The skiing was pretty good but variable and we found more fun stuff off Swifty. But, the glades were the place to be and we hit most of them on Andesite Mtn.
BUT, last night it snowed another 5-8" with 10-15" in the past two days. We knew it was going to be one of those special Big Sky days. Today, we also had the pleasure of inducting another skier to Big Sky for the first time. Jody's daughter Amanda and her husband Dave were visiting Big Sky for a long weekend. Amanda, being 7 months pregnant, was staying in the Meadow Village with Jody. Dave joined Jim, David and I for a really big day at our favorite little ski area.
Here are a few photos from this great day:

It become sunnier and sunnier throughout the day. This one was taken at about 3pm.
We skied until 1pm before lunch because the skiing on Challenger was too good to leave. At the end of the day, we were beat but we found more nice powder glades on Andesite. Here it was, almost 4pm, and we were still finding some nice powder lines! Amazing...
Tomorrow, it's supposed to be another sunny day and we may relax at Moonlight Basin. We'll see...
