Bluebird Day in Big Sky
We finally got to see some sun today. I never get tired of this spectacular view of Lone Peak as seen from the Ramcharger lift. The mountain reported two inches of new snow but it sure seemed like 4 or 5 inches. The wind howled last night and blew down some trees on the slopes. It was so windy yesterday that the upper lifts on the mountain never opened.
Yesterday Chelsea tried snowboarding for the first time. Today she tried it again and by mid-day she was worn out and her muscles were quite sore. Laurie saw her riding and said that she was doing a great job. Tonight, as we sit here on the couch watching football, Chelsea is moaning and groaning in pain. Nonetheless, I think she'll be trying snowboarding again in March when we return.
We were enjoying some nice groomers today in the sun and we decided it was the perfect day to enjoy a lunch in the Pinnacle Restaurant at the top of Andesite Mountain. This place serves great food and the views out the picture windows are wonderful.
