New Tree, Old Cat

This morning, the Village of Arlington Heights is planting a tree in our front yard. We did not know anything about this until one day the underground utilities were being marked on our lawn. The Village is apparently planting many of these trees throughout the local neighborhoods and our property was one that did not have a tree between the sidewalk and the road.

That's fine by us; now we have four trees!

And while I was snapping the photo of the tree going in the ground from Colin's room, I just had to snap a shot of our ol' cat. Zazu's acting strange now that Cosmo is not around. She is constantly hopping into our laps now when we are sitting on the couch and she NEVER EVER used to do that! I've never heard her purr so much.
