Spring Cleanup
Today was a beautiful spring day in Chicagoland - mostly sunny and upper 40s. It's time to take care of the lawn like everyone else does here - like it's almost as precious as their first born! I guess when you measure your property in feet and not acres each blade of grass is, in fact, precious.

While I was out there overseeing the raking activities (with coffee, book and camera to document the activities for the blog), this hawk flew overhead. Can you identify it?Just trying to show that there actually is wildlife here in the suburban midwest!
