March 25th - Big Sky Sunny Day #2

View from the bowl of the Lone Peak Triple and the A - Z Chutes

Jim ripping the bowl

Another great day at Big Sky as it stayed sunny nearly the entire day. Some wind and clouds blew in toward the end of the day but most runs were sunny with fantastic corn snow.

Laurie and Ann met Jim and I at Whiskey Jack's (at the base of Big Sky) for a little apres-ski. The kids and Cait were back at the ranch with Ian and Ming. We watched Georgetown force overtime against North Carolina in the Regional final and pull out the upset in OT. By the time we left WJ's it was heavy mixed precipitation with pellets of snow and some of the "r" word too.

Another great day at this mountain. Weather seems to be turning colder and wetter for the next 4 or 5 days +. Who knows what's in store now?

Big Couloir - still beckoning...
