Big Sky Day One (Continued)
After lunch, we decided to hit the upper mountain since the sun had been working its magic all morning and I was hopeful that the bowl and the summit would be good. The bowl had some great corn bumps - fantastic. Here's a view from the Triple Chair:
But the run of the day was our trip to the top of Lone Peak on the fabled tram. This was the kids' second trip to the summit and this time the weather was much nicer. Even at the summit, there were only light winds and it must have been 42 degrees or so. The kids ripped Liberty Bowl in the good corn snow, mostly soft by now. It was thick in places but they did well plowing through it and really skied quite fast down the whole thing. What a great run.
