March 24th - Big Sky Day
With a bluebird day, I took way too many photographs today. Here's Colin and Chelsea at the start of Elk Park Ridge with a great view of the Spanish Peaks. Speaking of bluebirds, we saw two of them today while we were riding the Thunderwolf Chairlift!
Colin insisted on this portrait just below the summit of Andesite:

The snow was mostly good today but we had to search for the best soft snow early in the day. Elk Park was absolutely primo corn and fast by early afternoon. Some other trails were firm but we only had a couple tough runs.
And the wonderful thing about the day besides the weather and spring conditions? NO LINES! So good to be back in Montana!
