Second Day at Copper

After a long debate about what ski area to go to today, and after reviewing the storm totals, we chose to go to Copper again. Colin was feeling better and the sun was shining. It was more crowded today but we still managed to get a good bit of skiing in at the Timberline Lift. This is a great lift for the kids now and the bump run under the lift was the perfect place for them to practice their technique -- not too steep, the snow was soft, and the lines were very good.

Laurie Getting Some Work Done on Her Blackberry

It was hard to leave with such good snow conditions on such a nice sunny day but we had a plane to catch in Denver. After lunch in Frisco, we packed up the ski bags on the sidewalk and jumped on I-70 East. Luckily, Laurie was staying in Denver two more nights and could just drop us off at the airport because we only made it to the airport 45 minutes before the flight! We had excruciating traffic on I-70. Of course, it turned out the flight was delayed after all and we had plenty of time to spare.

(The best part about the drive was spotting some bighorn sheep and a herd of Elk right near the side of the highway.)

Chelsea, you always manage to have that same look on your face while skiing - is it frozen on or something? Oh, but you're missing your twigs...

And Laurie, you look the same as always - wired... or rather, wireless...but connected. CUsoon! :)
