The Goggle Pose

On Laurie's birthday, we flew to Colorado for a long weekend at a friend's beautiful house near Breckenridge. Not a bad way to celebrate 39 again!

We were delayed out of Chicago so we arrived late into Denver and really late to their house. The kids were both fighting a cold so we did not get a really early start. It was nice and sunny; fairly spring-like at the bottom of the ski area.

Although I did not get to sample some of the better terrain at Breckenridge, I was not too impressed with the layout of the trails and lift system. Plus, it was crowded. Oy! As Yoda would say, 'Spoiled by Montana we are.' Nonetheless we had some fun runs and the weather was great.
