Final Yangshuo Moments

Laurie, marveling at the magical work of the silkworm:

Partway up the hill in the park, an artist was selling his work. Very nice. (Emily is on the left.)

From West Street, this view shows the hill we had just climbed (hill with the building/viewing platform on top):
Our final meal in Yangshuo was a local delicacy known as beer fish. Colin and I loved this dish - great flavors and spice. It was perfectly complemented by the local, cold, light beer. On this trip, with such hot and humid weather, the big bottles of cold beer were very refreshing!!! Even Laurie was enjoying the cold beer and that's a rarity.

Back out on the street, someone was selling these crawfish-like creatures. No thanks.

As you can see, Yangshuo has a lot to offer. I could have spent a full week here in this charming city. Great food, great sights, great shopping, and of course, the Li and Dragon Rivers.
