A Final Lasting Image from the Photo Tour

I love this photo. Colin and Tom were trying to get good shots of the otters when I took this photo. Tom has a big smile on his face and Colin is as happy as can be. This was what this trip was all about for me. I enjoyed learning a lot about photography and spending so much time with Tom was simply fantastic. I learned so much about the park too. It was like having the absolute best guide to Yellowstone for 5 straight days and, oh by the way, we learned some photography too.

This trip has spurred Colin's love for photography even more and has inspired him to continue to learn and simply try hard. Tom gave Colin excellent and thoughtful advice about a career in photography, literally talking to him for hours about all that it takes to really succeed. Whether or not Colin eventually can make this a full-time career or not, he learned a lot from Tom and will certainly forever have a love for photography and has gained a greater appreciation for how special this national park is.
