Wine Tasting in Paso Robles

We made it.
After a long day of travel on Friday, Laurie and I made it to Paso Robles, California by 8:30pm. Laurie flew in from North Carolina and I flew in from VT. We were showed around our Bed & Breakfast by Travis and found out we were the only ones staying at the B&B that weekend.
High Ridge Manor is a wonderful place with a jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace and quite possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Breakfast in the morning was near perfection after our rain-soaked jog over the hills of rural Paso.
On the wine tour, our limosine took all eight of us to seven different wineries. Tom, Lori, Scott, Rachel, Elio, Erin, Laurie and I were escorted to some great places by our driver John who carefully labeled our wine purchases and stored them in the trunk for us.
The wineries we visited today included Martin & Weyrich, Eberle, Penman Springs, Castoro Cellars, Turley, Opolo and Justin. The highlights for me were Eberle, Penman Springs and Turley. Castoro Cellars also had some nice wines, especially a Cabernet Franc that will be coming home with us.
