The Reception

The reception was held at Tom and Lori's house in Rancho Palos Verdes. Tom has worked hard to get the back yard in shape for this event. There is a beautiful hot tub and pool, built-in grill, a fire pit, nice landscaping and let's not forget the fine handiwork on the deck. It really was the perfect place for a reception of this size (about 60 guests or so).






Besides the fantastic food from the caterers, the open bar, Tom's great CD mix and the DJ after that, there was a special unannounced performance by three Arabian (?) dancers for about 20 or 25 minutes. This really seemed to get the party started and they wowed the crowd with their obvious talents.

Later in the afternoon and evening the energetic DJ took over with some hits from the past and a few from the present. The wooden dance floor laid on the back yard and speakers all around provided the ideal setting for some serious dancing.

Kudos to Lori and Tom for putting together the ideal wedding reception. I think everyone had a great time.
