Cat on a Leash?!?!
Our cat, Cosmo, has never really adjusted to city life here in Illinois. He constantly meows to go outside and watches every little thing that moves from any window in the house. So, Colin decided to use his hard-earned money to buy a cat harness and leash so he could take the cat outside. Apparently, Colin thinks that Cosmo will learn to behave like a dog on a leash! But cats don't like to be controlled now, do they?
It's funny to watch and it certainly is making the neighbors talk about the strangers from VT but I would not call it a successful experiment at this point. We'll see. At least Cosmo is getting to roll around in the grass a bit.

Well, there are a bunch of web sites out there on how to train your cat on a leash. Leading a group of faculty has been described as a process much like herding cats. If that is true, herding even one cat on a leash is likey to prove challenging, but I'm sure Cosmo will be one happy cat, even if only for a few minutes a day.
