Black Friday

On Friday morning we drove to Falmouth to watch David's sons, Matty and Jack, play in a hockey game. It was fun to see them play and they did really well. This was much more enjoyable than fighting the mobs at the malls!
We enjoyed a nice lunch at Dave's house and everyone but Doreen's family was there. It had been a long time since we had visited their house in Falmouth...
Then we drove to Lisa and Todd's house in Westport to stay with them that night. We had not seen the major new addition on their house and it is spectacular. It's not quite done yet but Todd and Lisa are doing all the work themselves and there's no huge rush now that it is very usable space. The living room and nice deck made me pine for our old house in Hinesburg!

Todd prepared a superb chicken dinner with some excellent wine to accompany it. We ended the night by playing Connect Four, a fun game of vertical tic-tac-toe. We also were treated to some karaoke by Laurie and Lisa. Todd showed me his cool Sonos wireless music system and we searched on Rhapsody for some old '70s and '80s hits. Colin and Chelsea just rolled their eyes, as only teenagers can, as they watched the karaoke with "old" hits like Frankie Goes to Hollywood and some one-hit wonder bands. It was quite the spectacle...
