Indiana vs. Northwestern

Northwestern Enters the Stadium

On Saturday, November 10, Laurie, Colin, Chelsea and I went to see the Northwestern Wildcats play their last home game of the year against the Indiana Hoosiers. It was perfect fall football weather - partly sunny and a crisp 50 degrees. Unlike a couple Ohio State football games I have attended, getting into and out of the stadium today was a breeze. Of course, this was due to the fact that only about 40,000 fans attended the game at Northwestern vs. the 100,000+ that go to every Ohio State home game. Ryan Field only holds 49k fans or so.

So it was a nice relaxed atmosphere to see two respectable football programs go at it. Unfortunately, when I bought the tickets I had no control of where my seats were and they ended up being in the Indiana section when we were there to root for the home team. Since it's not far away there were a lot of Indiana fans in the stands and they did a respectable job supporting their team.

Colin brought his nice Canon camera to the game to work on his action photography skills. Most of the photos in these entries were taken by him. Check 'em out:
