E P I C - Alta Day 1

This is the kind of day it was at one of our favorite ski areas. Deep powder, mostly sunny skies, and really big smiles. Alta had just received roughly 6 feet of snow during the past 7 days with about 16 inches overnight. There were places in the Wildcat area that felt bottomless. From the lift, as people skied below you, not a sound could be heard because the snow was so soft and deep. This was the perfect start to our ski trip.
