TGV train to Avignon

Took a cab to Gare de Lyon the next morning and took possibly the best form of public transportation known to mankind. These bullet trains are so comfortable, quiet and fast that the several hundred kilometer trip was over in no time. What a way to get around!

Our hotel in Avignon is quite interesting! To get to our room we actually had to pass through a chapel!! Talk about bizarre.

And the Palais des Papes which we visited the next day (Saturday).
