July 21, 2008 - Museum of the Rockies

We finally made it to the Museum of the Rockies! I have wanted to visit this museum for many years but for one reason or another never made it. It did not disappoint either. They have an impressive dinosaur fossil collection and the displays are very informative and well done.

The kids seemed to enjoy the section of the museum devoted to famous movie costumes (traveling exhibit just here this summer). There were costumes for Indiana Jones, the Wicked Witch of the West, Terminator, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker's flight suit, George Clooney's batman outfit, and many Star Trek episodes.
