Photography Hike

My Budding Ansel Adams...
As we had just done a couple weeks ago in Jackson, Wyoming, Colin and I took a photography excursion. Colin is extremely passionate about photography right now and sincerely believes this could be his career (nature photography specifically). Seeing the zeal with which he attacks his craft I have a feeling his dream could come true.
We have fun exploring the natural world, looking for interesting objects and scenes for our lenses. Today we explored the west side of the peninsula following the beach southward to a rocky point. The tide was high enough that we had to scramble up and over some rocks to see around the point. It was really windy on the second day and we had to be careful not to lose our hats or worse. But the high winds made for some nice opportunities for wave photos and spectacular crashes along the rocky coastline.
