The Four Seasons Hualalai, Big Island

Upon arrival at the Kona airport, we picked up our rental car and drove 15 minutes to our humble abode for the week - The Four Seasons Hualalai. 

Our room wasn't ready at 1:30pm when we arrived so we headed to one of the restaurants for a much-needed lunch. I had Mahi Tacos that were excellent and Laurie had the Chicken Chop Chop Salad:

We then were escorted to our room on the first level of one of the bungalows. Not a bad view:

I chose the first level room because this one has an outdoor lava rock shower!  

Poor Laurie is suffering mightily with this head cold so she took a serious nap. Meanwhile I listened to Spotify tunes using my Bose speaker while drinking some nice Cava (Spanish sparkling white wine). Not a bad start to the week...
