Day 3 Continued

In the afternoon we visited the John Lennon Peace Wall.  This wall came into existence in 1980 after John Lennon was killed in New York City.  Under communism the secret police tried to stop the graffiti writers but every day the wall seemed to be covered with new peace messages. 

The street musician below was playing some Beatles songs as well as songs by other musicians.

At 8 o'clock we attended a classical music concert with baroque organ, violin and two singers.  They played a selection of songs by Bach, Mozart, Dvorak, Verdi, and others.  There are many concert opportunities every night in this city.
