Room with a View

Our trip to southern Italy is off to a great start. Matera is simply one of the most unique places I've ever seen; in a word, magical. Here is the view from the part of the town known as Sasso Caveoso. 

We are having a blast exploring the city built into stone, one of the oldest continuously inhabited places on earth. It has a fascinating history.
