July 13th - Down Day on the Golf Course
After yesterday's tough hike and with everyone else going fly fishing, I decided to relax today and play a round of golf on the Big Sky course in the Meadow Village. I wanted to get a few strokes (102 to be exact) of practice for the upcoming golf outing at Tom's bachelor party weekend in Chicago.
It's no surprise that I did not play well at all. I had a couple pars and one great chip in from 20 yards away but a lot of poor tee shots (I blame it on the clubs; mine are at home). The short game was reasonable and I kept the 3-putts to a minimum. Oh well. That's all I can expect since I have not played since last June when I played with Jim on the same course. Still. It was very frustrating. Tom and the boys will have a good laugh at my golf game in a few weeks.
The Signature 17th Hole
Tomorrow morning, we pick up Chelsea in Bozeman. It will be great to see her. We may even go to see the new Harry Potter film. She'll love that...
